How accurate is a photo measurement?
Close enough to quote, not enough to skip the site visit. One scale line calibrates the surfaces in the same plane as your reference object; a side eave that runs away from the camera projects shorter than it is, and the tool flags those runs so you can type the true length. Installers usually add a materials buffer of about 10% and confirm on site. Every quote GlowBid sends says exactly that.
What happens to the photo?
It stays in your browser unless you export. GlowBid never stores, caches or measures from Google Street View or satellite imagery; the canvas works only with photos you own.
