Privacy Policy
This explains what GlowBid collects, why, and who can see it. Short version: your data is used to run the service for you, and it is never sold.
What we collect
- Your account: email, password (stored hashed), company name, address, phone and logo.
- Your customers' details: names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, house photos and notes that you or your customers enter. You are responsible for having the right to store them.
- Usage: which features are used and when, without personal details, so we can improve the product.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. GlowBid never sees card numbers.
How we use it
- To show your estimates, quotes, invoices and jobs to you and your team.
- To send quotes, reminders and sign-off links to your customers when you ask us to, or when you turn on automatic reminders.
- To email you about your account and the service.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run GlowBid: Supabase (database and file storage, hosted in Canada), Netlify (hosting), Stripe (payments), Twilio (texts), Google (address lookup and roof data), and an email provider for account messages. Each sees only what it needs. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Homeowners
If an installer sent you a quote, photo request or sign-off link, your details were entered by that installer, and they are the business you are dealing with. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of reminders. Contact the installer to update or remove your information; we will help them do so.
Keeping it safe
Data travels encrypted, every company's records are isolated from every other company's, and photos are stored privately. Public links (a quote, a photo request, a sign-off) work only with their own unguessable address and expire where it makes sense.
Your choices
- Export your customers any time from the Customers page.
- Ask us to delete your account and everything in it by emailing hello@getglowbid.com.
- Turn automatic reminders off in Settings at any time.
