Terms of Service

GlowBid is estimating and customer software for lighting installers, made by GlowBid in Ottawa, Ontario. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of your company.

Your account

• One subscription covers one company and everyone you invite to it.
• You are responsible for what your team does in the account and for keeping passwords private.
• You must be able to enter a contract on your company's behalf.

Subscriptions and payment

• Plans bill yearly (or monthly at the monthly rate) in US dollars through Stripe. You can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• The 7-day free trial needs no card. When it ends, the account pauses until a plan is chosen. Nothing is deleted.
• 30-day money-back guarantee on a first annual payment: email hello@getglowbid.com within 30 days and we refund it in full.
• A founding price stays the same for as long as that subscription stays active.
• Reminder texts are included up to the allowance of your plan. We may pause texting if it is used to send anything other than reminders to your own customers.

Estimates are estimates

Measurements taken from photos are approximate. GlowBid shows this on every quote. You are responsible for confirming measurements on site and for the prices, terms and agreements you send to your customers. GlowBid is a tool, not a party to your contracts with homeowners.

Your data

• Your customers, photos, estimates and invoices belong to you. We use them only to run the service for you.
• You can export your customers at any time from the Customers page, and ask us to delete your account and its data.
• Street View imagery is shown for reference only and is never stored or used for measuring.

Acceptable use

Do not use GlowBid to send unsolicited messages, to store content you have no right to, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep GlowBid running, especially in the busy season, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, GlowBid is not liable for lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email the account owner before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
