EverLights does not publish an installed price per foot. On October 25, 2026, its store lists ClickLights DIY kits from $1,050 for 50 ft to $4,175 for 300 ft, which is $21 down to $13.92 a foot in product alone, and its quote page asks you to fill in a form or call. So the installed number is built by the installer: product, plus labour, peaks, jumps and the controller. Below is that math on GlowBid's default rate card.

Written by the GlowBid founder. Every EverLights price below was checked on EverLights' own pages on October 25, 2026 and is linked at the bottom. GlowBid has no relationship with EverLights.

Does EverLights publish an installed price per foot?#

No. The closest EverLights comes is its own cost article from January 19, 2025, which says a professional install "varies" and names three things that move it: roofline complexity (more floors, steep angles, many peaks), points of power (extra wiring or outlets where power is short), and roofline length. Then it points you to a free quote. The Request a Quote page offers a form, a phone number and financing, and no figure.

Several third-party cost pages print a per-foot range for EverLights installs. None of the ones we found traced its number to EverLights or to a named EverLights dealer, so we left them out. That is the honest state of things: anyone quoting "EverLights per foot" is quoting their own rate card.

That is not a knock on the brand. It is how most dealer-installed lines work. It just means the installer has to know their own number, and the homeowner has to ask what is in it.

What do EverLights kit prices work out to per foot?#

$13.92 to $21 a foot at list, and $11.13 to $16.80 on sale, for the DIY ClickLights bundles. The longer the kit, the cheaper the foot:

ClickLights bundle List price List per foot Sale price Sale per foot
50 ft $1,050 $21.00 $840 $16.80
100 ft $1,675 $16.75 $1,340 $13.40
150 ft $2,300 $15.33 $1,840 $12.27
200 ft $2,925 $14.63 $2,340 $11.70
250 ft $3,550 $14.20 $2,840 $11.36
300 ft $4,175 $13.92 $3,340 $11.13

Look at the steps. Every extra 50 ft adds $625 at list, which is $12.50 a foot. Take one step off the 50 ft bundle and $425 is left, the exact list price of the ClickLights Starter Kit in the accessories shop. So the store prices work like a formula: $425 fixed, plus $12.50 per foot. The sale prices are the same formula at 20 percent off ($340 plus $10 a foot). That is our arithmetic on their list, not a formula EverLights publishes.

$425fixed part of every ClickLights bundle, list
$12.50list price per added foot
Noneinstalled per-foot price published by EverLights

That split matters because it is the same shape as a rate card. The fixed part is the controller side: the 100 ft bundle page lists a wireless receiver, a Smart Bridge, a 24V power supply and the leads and cables to connect them. The per-foot part is the light strands, aluminum channel and caps. Price them the same way: a per-foot rate by run type, and the controller as its own line.

The bundle page lists five channel colours (White, Black, Musket Brown, Pebblestone Clay, Dark Bronze). The bridge alone lists at $194.52 and the 24V power supply at $115 in the accessories shop, which is useful when a long house needs a second power supply.

How do installers build an EverLights price per foot?#

Start from your real product cost, add the job, and price the hard feet higher. In order:

  1. Product cost per foot. Your dealer sheet if you have one. If not, the store list ($12.50 a foot plus $425 fixed) is your ceiling.
  2. Labour per foot by run type. Roofline, ridge line, peak and jump are not the same feet. Peaks mean mitres at the apex and two extra ladder moves. Jumps carry wire and no lights.
  3. Premiums. A pitch premium on peaks, a storey premium on upper runs.
  4. Controller and power as lines. Bridge, receiver, power supply, and any extra power booster on a long run.
  5. Minimum job and deposit. A 40 ft porch still costs a truck, ladders and an app setup.

Here is how those land on GlowBid's default rate card. These are starting numbers that every installer replaces with their own.

Line GlowBid default (track) GlowBid default (no-track)
Roofline, per lit foot $25.00 $20.00
Ridge line, per lit foot $25.00 $20.00
Peak, per lit foot $28.00 plus 15% pitch premium $23.00 plus 15%
Jump, per unlit foot $12.00 $10.00
Storey premium 10% on each upper-storey run same
Wi-Fi controller $250 add-on same
Minimum job $1,500 same
Deposit at signing 30% same
Materials buffer 10% on the order, never on the price same

EverLights runs in an aluminum channel, so it belongs on a track line. One flag: the starter kit lists at $425, above the $250 default controller line. If you carry EverLights, set the controller add-on from your own cost for the bridge, receiver and power supply. The full method behind each line is in how to price permanent Christmas lights per foot.

Worked example: a 150 ft bungalow at $4,316.80#

A single-storey bungalow with one front gable, lit on the front and both sides. Measured from the installer's own photo with the 16 ft garage door as the reference: 126 ft of roofline, two 12 ft peaks, two short jumps. That is 150 lit feet, which happens to match a 150 ft ClickLights bundle. Photo footage is an estimate; it gets confirmed on site before channel is cut. Priced on GlowBid's default track line.

  3. 3Jumps, 2 runs (unlit)$144
  4. 4Wi-Fi controller$250
Drawn from the table below. Read the lines
Line Footage or count Rate Line total
Roofline (storey 1) 126 ft $25.00 $3,150.00
Peaks, 2 runs of 12 ft (plus 15% pitch) 24 ft $28.00 $772.80
Jumps, 2 runs (unlit) 12 ft $12.00 $144.00
Wi-Fi controller 1 $250.00 $250.00
Total before tax $4,316.80
Deposit at signing (30%) $1,295.04

That is $28.78 per lit foot, all in. Want your own house in feet by run type? Draw it in the free roofline tool and price it against any card.

Now hold it against EverLights' public product prices. The bundle includes the bridge, receiver and power supply, so it stands in for the controller line as well.

Product at EverLights store prices Product cost Left of $4,316.80 for labour, overhead and margin Left per lit foot
150 ft bundle at list $2,300.00 $2,016.80 $13.45
150 ft bundle on sale $1,840.00 $2,476.80 $16.51
200 ft bundle at list (the 10% buffer is 165 ft) $2,925.00 $1,391.80 $9.28

The last row is the trap. Add a 10 percent buffer to 150 ft and the order is 165 ft, which no 150 ft bundle covers. Buy kits at retail and a $25 card gets thin fast. A dealer price sheet changes all three rows, which is why your sheet, not the store, sets your rate. The permanent lighting profit margin page works three jobs through to net.

What does the EverLights warranty do to your price?#

It makes the service call after year one yours. The Limited Warranty page says the warranty runs 1 to 10 years depending on product and install method, with the year tables in two schedules by install date (before and after July 2025). It covers no labour, for installation or anything else, and it recommends that owners get a labour warranty from a third-party installer, together with a maintenance contract. Transfer to a new owner needs registration within 90 days of purchase. Claims go in within 30 days of finding the problem. Installing without EverLights' own bridge, receivers, power boosters and connectors voids it.

The short versions on other EverLights pages do not agree with each other. The home page lists one year of labour and five years of parts among ClickLights features. The 100 ft bundle page says three years on parts in its feature list and one year on equipment in its FAQ. Get the term for your install in writing before it goes on a quote.

How we would handle it: print the parts term EverLights confirms, print your own labour term next to it, and keep a service call rate on the card. The service call and repair pricing page has the rate structure.

How does that compare with brands that publish a price?#

It sits right inside them. Trimlight's pricing page gives $18 to $35 per linear foot installed. JellyFish's gives about $25 to $35 a foot at its corporate locations, plus a $650 to $850 controller. Our bungalow at $28.78 a foot is inside both. Every brand's number, with dealer quotes, is on the permanent Christmas lights cost page, and the brands side by side are in the permanent lighting brands comparison. For the two most-asked-about lines head to head, see EverLights vs Trimlight, and for Trimlight's own published figures, Trimlight cost per foot.

For homeowners: reading an EverLights quote#

A fair quote shows its parts. Ask for five things:

  • Footage by run type. Roofline, peaks and jumps, each with its own rate. You can check the feet yourself from a photo.
  • The controller as a line. The bridge, receiver and power supply are real parts with real prices.
  • Power points. EverLights' own cost article names power as a cost driver. Ask where the power comes from and whether an outlet is extra.
  • The warranty, split. Parts years from EverLights, labour years from the installer, and who you call.
  • Registration. Who registers the system, and when. Transfer needs it inside 90 days.

The gap between the kit price and the quote is labour, ladders, the setup and the installer's labour warranty. On a single-storey 150 ft house, that gap is about $2,000 on GlowBid's default rate card.

Mistakes and edge cases#

  • Pricing from the sale tag. The 20 percent sale is a promotion. Build the card on list, or on your dealer sheet, and treat a sale as margin.
  • Forgetting the buffer crosses a bundle size. 150 lit feet plus 10 percent is 165 ft. That is the 200 ft kit, and $625 more at list.
  • The $250 default controller on an EverLights job. The starter kit lists at $425. Set the add-on to your real cost.
  • One power supply on a long run. EverLights' cost article says bundles carry one to three power boosters by length. More feet, more power lines on the quote.
  • Quoting the older article prices. The January 2025 article and the store list different numbers. Quote the store, with the date.
  • Promising EverLights covers the labour. It does not. Your labour term is your promise.
  • Measuring from a satellite view. Gables shrink from above, and the imagery is not yours to measure. Use your own photo with a known length, and confirm on site.
  • Canadian jobs off US store tags. The store shows dollar prices with no currency note. Confirm currency and shipping with EverLights before you build a CAD rate, and charge GST or HST (13 percent in Ontario) on the installed price.

Catching the bundle-size trap before you order#

The trap in the worked example, 150 lit feet becoming a 165 ft order, is the kind of thing that only shows up if footage and materials come from the same place. In GlowBid you draw the runs on your own photo, set the scale from a known length, and the footage, the bill of materials and the price all come from that one drawing, with your materials buffer (default 10 percent) applied to the order, never to the price. Set EverLights up as its own product line with your controller add-on at your real cost for the bridge, receiver and power supply, not the $250 default, and with the parts and labour terms you confirmed. Every measurement carries a source tag and a confidence level, and the quote says photo footage is an estimate confirmed on site. The homeowner e-signs on their phone and pays the deposit by card through Stripe; GlowBid adds a platform margin under 1 percent on top of Stripe processing, shown before you connect. Prices start at $69 a month or $299 a year on the pricing page, with a 7-day trial (no card) and a 30-day money-back guarantee on a first yearly payment.

FAQ

Questions installers ask

How much do EverLights cost per foot installed?

EverLights does not publish an installed per-foot price; its site sends you to a quote form or a phone call. What it does publish is product: ClickLights DIY kits at $13.92 to $21 a foot at list, or $11.13 to $16.80 on sale, as of October 25, 2026. Any installed EverLights number you see is an installer's own rate card, built on top of that product cost.

How much is an EverLights DIY kit?

On EverLights' store on October 25, 2026, ClickLights bundles list at $1,050 for 50 ft, $1,675 for 100 ft, $2,300 for 150 ft, $2,925 for 200 ft, $3,550 for 250 ft and $4,175 for 300 ft, with sale prices 20 percent lower. EverLights' January 2025 cost article shows an older sheet, $1,600 for 100 ft colour-changing and $750 for 100 ft classic white, so quote from the store, not the article.

Does the EverLights warranty cover labour?

Not the manufacturer warranty. EverLights' warranty page says it covers no labour for installation or otherwise, and it recommends that owners get a labour warranty from a third-party installer. Its home page lists one year of labour and five years of parts among ClickLights features. If you install it, the ladder after year one is your cost, so price service calls and put your labour term in writing.

Why is an EverLights quote so much more than the kit?

Because the kit is product and the quote is product plus the job. Labour, ladders, peaks, power points, the controller setup and the installer's labour warranty all sit on top. On our 150 ft bungalow, the 150 ft kit lists at $2,300 and the installed price on GlowBid's default rate card is $4,316.80, leaving $2,016.80 for labour, overhead and margin before any buffer.

What should an EverLights quote show line by line?

Footage by run type (roofline, ridge line, peak, jump), the per-foot rate for each, the controller or bridge as its own line, any extra power supplies, the deposit, and the warranty in writing: parts years from EverLights, labour years from the installer. A quote that shows one total and nothing else cannot be compared with another quote, or with the kit price.

Can a dealer buy EverLights below the store price?

EverLights' dealer page promises minimal startup costs that include product and competitive pricing, with no figures, and the dealer price sheet is not public. Treat the store list price as your ceiling on product cost until you have the sheet in writing. Then set your rate card from the sheet, not the store, and recheck it each season because the store has changed prices before.
